Sherwood Forest offers a diverse offering of amenities, anchored by a dynamic Boys & Girls Summer Camp, helping shape an active and socially connected community. The Club is committed to maintaining these amenities at a high level further enhancing the enjoyment of our membership. Many of these amenities are also supported by volunteer committee programming that help organize events and identify member interests. The following are some of what makes Sherwood so special:
Clubhouse for community events & member's private rentals
A beautifully preserved historic 1916 event venue accommodating groups from 20 to 1,000 guests.
9-hole private golf course with sand greens
Step back in time in one of the only sand greens courses in the United States.
Marina, piers and boat launches
Private wet slips accommodating boats up to 42 feet as well as land storage spaces that allow easy access to the Severn River and Chesapeake Bay.
Outdoor swimming pool
Summer memories are created in our large private pool adjacent to the community clubhouse.
Sand beaches on the Severn River
Swim, play and relax on one of the Severn River’s rare private beaches.
Outdoor tennis courts (6 courts)
Tennis enthusiasts can enjoy both annual organized tournaments or walk-on play on our six private courts.
Outdoor pickleball courts (4 courts)
A secluded forest setting for community tournaments or member's walk-on play on our four courts.
Duckpin bowling alley (est. 1925)
Members can step back in time in our historic bowling alley, where hand-set pins and vintage charm create a one-of-a-kind experience for gatherings and celebrations.

Boys & Girls Summer Camp
The heart of Sherwood Forest! Generations of members have participated in our multifaceted day camp where friends and memories are made for life.
Lacrosse/soccer and baseball fields
Where children develop a passion for playing lacrosse, soccer and other team sports. Member's open access for free play and community sponsored events.
Nature trails
Enjoy the natural beauty of more than 500 private acres, featuring miles of walking trails nestled along a scenic peninsula in Annapolis.
